Kochi: Bishop Franco Mulakkal filed the aniticipatory bail plea in the nun sexual assault case. The bishop’ s lawyer requested justice Raja Vijayaraghavan to consider the plea today itself. The justice said the plea would be taken up on Wednesday. But the lawyer pointed out the urgency as the bishop was asked to appear before the investigation team on Wednesday. The Justice assured him orally that he would consider the plea during the afternoon session at 1.45 pm. So a special permission to consider the anticipatory bail plea was filed.
