TribLIVE One-on-one: Amesh Adalja

Covid-19 vaccines produced by Pfizer and BioNTech and Moderna are likely to be released later this month. Along with the excitement that this could be the beginning of the end of the pandemic, comes concerns about the safety of the vaccine. Just how safe is the covid vaccine? The Trib put these questions to Pittsburgh based infectious disease and critical care physician Dr. Amesh Adalja, a senior scholar at the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security.
