Chicken only lasts in the refrigerator for up to two days so it’s best to keep the thighs in the freezer. 2. Salmon Filets. You will spend 79% less by purchasing salmon filets in bulk. They should also be kept in the freezer. 3. Organic Brown Rice. The study found that purchasing organic brown rice in bulk will save you 77%. Brown rice can last up to six months in the pantry, so it’s worth the investment if you eat it regularly. 4. Uncooked Tortillas. Tortillas can be used for a variety of dishes and you will save 70% by purchasing uncooked tortillas in bulk. They will last for one month in the refrigerator and up to two months in the freezer.
