Trump announces landmark trade deal with the UK

President Trump announced the framework of his trade deal with the UK on Thursday – the first agreement established in his 90-day tariff pause. Trump stressed that the UK will be “opening up the country” for market access for American goods, especially agriculture. The president has said he’s been engaged with leaders from dozens of countries around the world in trade talks, and has had up to 18 paper deals in front of him. But the details of which countries he’s close to getting a shake with have been murky.
