ACLU officials briefed reporters on a new class action lawsuit alleging that federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents were violating people's constitutional rights with their immigration enforcement tactics in the Minneapolis area. The Trump administration sent hundreds of federal agents and officers to the Twin Cities in response to, in part, allegations of fraud involving Somali residents. Subsequently, Renee Good was shot and killed by an ICE agent, and an ICE agent later shot a second person in the leg, with both incidents sparking protests around the city.
