The general secretary of a leading teaching union calls for an immediate nationwide move to remote learning due to safety concerns over the rapid spread of coronavirus. Dr Patrick Roach of the NASUWT said infrastructure to support such a move "had come on in leaps and bounds" since national lockdowns in spring 2020.
