Ford Recalls 200,000+ Vehicles Over Safety Concerns

Ford has announced a recall affecting more than 200,000 vehicles due to several safety concerns. The automaker is recalling 6,909 Econoline vans because of an inoperative defrosting and defogging system. Another 163,256 Bronco SUVs are being recalled due to front seats that may have loose bolts. The recall also covers 56,841 Lincoln and Explorer vehicles after air bubbles were found in some windshields. Ford stated that all affected parts will be replaced free of charge for vehicle owners. In addition, Ford issued a warning for more than 175,000 Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator SUVs, as well as certain F-Series pickup trucks. The warning involves moonroof deflectors that could detach while driving, potentially posing a safety risk. Ford has received two reports of drivers being struck by detached deflectors from their vehicles. Owners are urged to check the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration website to see if their vehicles are affected.
