A chilling new study says insect wildlife across Europe is under threat after researchers at the University of Exeter discovered that invasive Asian hornets are eating native insect species. The research, published on March 4, found 1,449 'operation taxonomic units' in the guts of hornet larvae, with three of their top prey identified as bee species that are Europe's main crop pollinators.
