Avalanche conditions are very dangerous over President’s Day weekend as snow continues to fall. Forecasters with the Utah Avalanche Center issued warnings for much of the state about heading into the backcountry. One snowmobiler said people look at the fresh powder and think it’s prime conditions to hit the backcountry. But he said you should stop and think about who you’re going with and what you’re taking with you if you decide to go.
