The actor and musician recently cancelled the comedy rock band's Spicy Meatball Tour after Gass made a joke about the attempted assassination of the U.S. presidential candidate in July. As Black attended the premiere for his new movie Borderlands on Tuesday evening, he insisted the group's hiatus won't be permanent. "We need to take a break. Everybody needs a break sometime. And we'll be back." Gass sparked outrage last month when he was asked to make a wish after being presented with a birthday cake during a concert in Sydney.
