Pittsburgh police Sgt. Aaron Robinson leads the city police force's entertainment patrol of roughly 10 officers on South Side's East Carson Street on Friday, June 7, 2024, and early Saturday, June 8, 2024. The patrol has made 171 arrests, and issued 1,873 parking citations and 1,112 non-traffic citations since it started on July 20, 2023, a police spokeswoman told TribLive. During the same time period, 911 calls reporting gunshots in the neighborhood dropped 63%.
