This according to Marijuana Moment.

Dave’s parties have “way more weed than anyone should ever have” as well as “a lot of mushrooms,” said Rock. Chappelle has been hosting regular outdoor comedy shows in Yellow Springs, Ohio, entitled “Dave Chappelle & Friends – An Intimate Socially Distanced Affair.”

“A bunch of comedians fly in every weekend, we get COVID tested and we kinda put on a show,” Rock said. “It’s a bunch of us just having fun, being comics.”

“Dave’s got, like, a weed–mushroom chef that prepares amazing meals with weed and mushrooms,” Rock added.

Although psilocybin is illegal in Ohio, Greene County Sheriff Gene Fischer told local media outlet WHIO that he presumes that Rock’s comments on the talk show were likely in jest.

“Chris Rock’s a comedian. Chris Rock is probably looking for jokes,” the sheriff said. “People have been making jokes about marijuana and drugs for years. Hopefully that’s what he’s talking about.”

https://www.marijuanamoment.net/dave-chappelles-marijuana-and-psychedelics-parties-dont-concern-local-sheriff/

Last up: Marijuana Moment reports that a U.S. congressperson has said that if her daughter were to have a condition in which cannabis could help treat, she would be willing to violate federal law in order to obtain it.

A video posted on Facebook shows Representative Elaine Luria of Virginia meeting with a mother of a child with a rare form of brain cancer. The mother said that before her child had passed away, they had found relief from taking cannabis.

“From the federal level, I think the key thing that we can do to make an impact is immediately just remove it from the Schedule I list,” said Congresswoman Luria. “I think we need to bring it into a system where it’s prescribable by doctors, there’s better research and understandability of it, there’s regulation of the actual product.”

“I’d want to do the same thing for my daughter if I ever had to make that choice,” the congresswoman added.

https://www.marijuanamoment.net/congresswoman-says-shed-break-federal-law-to-get-medical-marijuana-if-her-daughter-needed-it/
