Alappuzha: Policeman Ajas said that rejection of love provoked him to kill police officer Soumya Pushpakaran in Vallikkunnam on Saturday. The Magistrate recorded the confessional statement. The accused said he had wished to marry Soumya but she rejected his proposal. Post the rejection, Ajas intended to kill her and commit suicide, the statement said.
