Campaign 2026: U.S. House Candidate Stefany Shaheen (D-NH) Holds News Conference

New Hampshire Democratic U.S. House candidate Stefany Shaheen accepted the endorsement of the League of Conservation Voters environmental advocacy group at a news conference in Merrimack. Ms. Shaheen affirmed her commitment to addressing climate issues in the Granite State, including reducing fossil fuel usage and ending the use of "forever chemicals" known as PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances), both of which she said were "so critical to our state." Ms. Shaheen, the daughter of Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), was running to represent New Hampshire's 1st Congressional District, which encompasses the Eastern part of the state. The nonpartisan Cook Political Report rated the general election "Likely Democrat."
