Sinéad O’Connor’s estate is outraged that former US President Donald Trump has been using her version of 'Nothing Compares 2 U' at his political rallies. The late Irish singer’s estate and record label, Chrysalis Records, have demanded Trump “desist from using her music immediately.” O’Connor’s estate said she lived by a “fierce moral code” and would have been “disgusted, hurt and insulted” to know that Trump was using her music. The estate noted that the singer once previously referred to Trump as a “biblical devil.” The legendary singer died in July 2023 in London at the age of 56. Trump is running for a second term as US President and is currently campaigning to be the Republican nominee for the upcoming election.
