Kottayam: Former chief minister Oommen Chandy stated that he does not want to create controversies for not being invited for the inaugural ceremony of Kannur International Airport. The UDF government had decided to complete the construction of the airport in 2017 but a slight change in the schedule occurred after a panchayat led by CPM did not cooperate for land acquisition and quarrying of rocks. The people cannot be misled and they really know what happened, he added.
