SEC Media Days came and went for Ole Miss football days ago. The Rebels have been on to their expectations-filled 2024-25 season, including the program’s ‘Production Day’ on Thursday. There’s plenty of reason for optimism. Ole Miss won a program-record 11 games last season and has been ranked inside the Top 10 in each of the last three. The College Football Playoff is now, officially, a 12-team field. Ole Miss has the sixth-best odds to win the title. Quarterback Jaxson Dart is a Heisman Trophy candidate.
