Spanish Town, Jamaica native Adrean Allen is employed in the housekeeping department at UPMC Mercy Hospital. He works hard to support his family which includes two young daughters. A musician, Allen has a recording studio in his home where he produces songs that he writes and sings. And it’s his gift of singing that he shares with patients, including those battling covid-19. Allen cares so much about the patients he comes in contact with that he often sings to them as a way to lift their spirits. This week he took time out of his busy schedule to talk with the Trib in this installment of “Answering the Call.”
