Mumbai: BR Ambedkar's grandson Prakash Ambedkar has become a force to reckon with in Maharashtra after the Lok Sabha elections. The 14% vote share achieved by the Prakash Ambedkar's front has rattled the political status quo of Maharashtra. The emergence of new party founded by Prakash Ambedkar adversely affected the vote-share of the Congress-NCP alliance in many seats. He told Mathrubhumi News that his party aims to become an alternative to BJP by defeating the Congress.
