Pelosi Orders Removal of Portraits of Former House Speakers Who Served in Confederacy

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told reporters on Thursday that she had directed the Clerk of the House to remove portraits of four past House Speakers who served in the Confederacy. The removal is to take place Friday, which is Juneteenth.
