Watch: Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu joins world leaders, gets Covid-19 vaccine

Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu was vaccinated against Covid-19 on live television. Netanyahu became the first Israeli and one of the world's leaders to be inoculated. He received the vaccine from Dr Zvi Berkowitz at Sheba Medical Centre. The Israel PM was also placed in observation for half an hour to monitor for possible allergic reactions. The country's health minister, Yuli Edelstein, was also vaccinated on the same day. Israel will begin vaccinating its health workers, nursing home residents beginning Sunday. The vaccination campaign is set to expand to the broader public in the coming weeks. So far, Israel has reported over 366,000 cases and more than 3,000 virus-related deaths.
