New Delhi: For Kerala, the tax share announced in the interim union budget is Rs 21115 crore, an increase of Rs 2076.97 crore compared to the previous financial year. The budget dampened the hopes of the state for an AIIMS and schemes for distressed rubber farmers. But, the proposal for the creation of a separate Fisheries Department would surely benefit the state.
