The Live to Give series features stories of unsung heroes to create a cycle of empowerment, graciousness, and kindness within the tennis community. Paul Segodo grew up in Benin Africa. Tennis was the vehicle that gave Paul a better future with the opportunity to come to America and receive a scholarship. When he went back to Africa he saw that the children were playing under the same conditions he played under as a kid - they were playing barefoot or with holes in their shoes, the net was ripped, the court was unsafe and dirty. He decided to make a change and founded Tennis for a Better Life. His organization rebuilds tennis courts in Benin and brings equipment to the children so that they can play their way to a better tomorrow.
