A major pharmaceutical company needed to feed and orient bi-color tablets at high rates of speed. Shibuya Hoppmann built two different systems - one using a single feeder system with rates of 1250 ppm and a second combining two hi-speed feed systems (with rotary accumulation table) resulting in rates of 2500 ppm. Both systems used a 2-color sensor to orient bi-colored parts.
