Billie Eilish has expressed frustration with reporters probing into her sexuality during Variety's Hitmakers event. The singer previously came out on a Variety cover story but didn't take too kindly to that being the focus of the night at Variety's Hitmakers event. When asked about her interest in women, Eilish emphasized her belief that people should simply "exist" without the need for public declarations. However, she slammed Variety on Instagram later for "outing her" on a red carpet while she was in attendance for her Film Song of the Year award. "Thanks Variety for my award and for also outing me on a red carpet at 11 am instead of talking about anything else that matters i like boys and girls leave me alone about it please literally who cares stream “what was i made for"" Billie Eilish said on Instagram.
