T'puram: The VS-led Government had denied the permission to set up liquor manufacturing units in the State. The irony is that both the VS decision to deny permit for breweries as well as the Pinarayi regime's decision to issue it are based on the same order issued in 1999. The permit given to Sree Chakra group in Thrissur was also in violation of rules.
