On The Water heads north to Maine’s Sebago Lake where Chris Megan and Jimmy Fee team up with Registered Maine Guides Dan Hillier and Jon Peterson to target big Lake Trout through the ice. By utilizing cutting edge Humminbird Ice Helix 7s, the crew dials into some incredible fishing in waters over 100 ft deep. Lake trout have become a nuisance species that have overpopulated the waters of Lake Sebago. Not only have the togue proliferated the lake in large numbers but they have out competed the native landlocked salmon which have seen a serious decline in numbers. In order to create a more sustainable fishery and to help the salmon recover, the state of Maine has asked anglers to pitch in and catch and keep small lakers under 26" while releasing larger fish to maintain a trophy lake trout fishery.
