Representative Ed Case (D-HI) accuses President Trump, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and Army Secretary Daniel Driscoll of " humiliatingly and cruelly" firing Army Chief of Staff General Randy George. Case says, "You at least owe Congress, the public, and I think most importantly the soldiers some explanation. But you didn't." Driscoll, while noting the civilian chain of command, doesn't give a reason for General George's firing but expresses his admiration for him, saying,, "He was an amazing and transformational leader."
