Idukki: A real estate company in Mumbai got hold of a property the state government had acquired during the Munnar Mission anti-encroachment drive as it lost a legal battle in the High Court. Though it was found that the 'patta' for the property was forged, the revenue officers made deliberate lapses which caused the defeat of the government and it lost an 11-acre land worth Rs 30 crore in the heart of Chinnakkanal.
