[What It Means to Be American: Voting] was the first-prize high school west winner in C-SPAN Classroom's StudentCam documentary contest. Cristian Granados and Gabriel Wright, seniors at William J. Palmer High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado, produced this video on the 2019 theme, "What Does it Mean to be American?" C-SPAN Classroom's StudentCam video documentary contest is an annual national competition in which middle and high school students produce a documentary on a specific theme.
