Neil Gaiman has denied allegations of abuse and sexual assault made by multiple women. In a statement, Gaiman wrote, “I have never engaged in non-consensual sexual activity with anyone. Ever.” The author’s denial comes days after a New York Magazone published a cover story that included eight of Gaiman’s accusers. Four of the women had previously shared their allegations on the podcast series ‘Master: The Allegations Against Neil Gaiman’. A former nanny, Scarlett Pablovich, claims Gaiman attacked her on multiple occasions, once pushing his penis into her mouth and causing her to vomit. Gaiman vehemently denied the allegations made in the magazine story, describing them as “false, not to mention, deplorable.” “I went back to read the messages I exchanged with the women around and following the occasions that have subsequently been reported as being abusive. These messages read now as they did when I received them – of two people enjoying entirely consensual sexual relationships and wanting to see one another again,” said Gaiman. The ‘Sandman’ author continued, “Some of the horrible stories now being told simply never happened, while others have been so distorted from what actually took place.”
