The Salt Lake City Police Department is investigating two incidents involving two men in critical condition; both were injured at about 5 a.m. on Friday. Police say the incidents are likely related, but they are still investigating. Police were called to the area of 230 South 600 West on reports of gunshots just before 5 a.m. When they arrived, they found a crime scene. Moments later, they say a man showed up at a local hospital with gunshot wounds and did not arrive via ambulance. According to an SLCPD X post, officers believe the suspect fled the scene, but the public was in no immediate risk.
