Indian grandma films selfie video as she goes paragliding over for first time This 71-year-old woman defied her age as she went paragliding for the first time in northern India's Himachal Pradesh. The incident took place in Kullu town of the same district on Oct. 12. Visuals showed the woman smiling as she hovered over the picturesque Himalayan town. The woman was so confident that she even adjusted the selfie stick to facilitate the better recording of her adventure. Though she mostly kept quiet, the woman made the occasional talk with the pilot and even waved at her people as she approached the landing. After her landing, the woman gracefully thanked the pilot for his efforts. While she may not be the oldest woman to paraglide, it does not take away the courage and determination she showed during the course of the adventure. Earlier this year, netizens went gaga over a husky who went paragliding with his owner in the same town. In a different incident, a man found fame online after a video trended of him cussing while paragliding.
