Paris braces for 'most incredible' Olympics opening ceremony

Organisers have promised an Opening Ceremony the likes of which audiences have never seen when the 2024 Paris Games get underway Friday. More than 80 boats bearing nearly 7,000 athletes will set off from Paris's Austerlitz Bridge for a floating parade up the River Seine, sailing past Notre-Dame cathedral to arrive at the feet of the iconic Eiffel Tower. A vast security operation has also been put in place for the event, reports France 24's Selina Sykes.
