In the thirty-third in a series on American presidents, scholars discussed the life and career of Dwight D. Eisenhower. Among the issues they addressed were his childhood, his military career, the early Cold War years, his role in ending the Korean War, and his relationship with his wife. During the program documents, photographs and video footage relating to Eisenhower were shown. A student from Eisenhower High School was interviewed by telephone and guests responded to viewer questions and comments.
