Ireland's 2021 Budget package 'unprecedented' in size and scale

Finance Minister Paschal Donohoe explains how Ireland’s 2021 Budget amounts to a total spend of €17.75 billion. He said this is "unprecedented in its size and scale". Paschal Donohoe says it has been framed on two major assumptions: a no-deal Brexit and the continued fight against the coronavirus. Ireland's Department of Finance is forecasting a total loss of 320,000 jobs in 2020, with an estimated 155,000 jobs to be recovered next year.
