Inspired by her friend Stephanie Danler, Ratajkowski says the rings symbolize her "personal evolution." She collaborated with Alison Chemla to transform the rings into two complementary pieces, symbolizing this transition in her life. "I don’t think a woman should be stripped of her diamonds just because she's losing a man," says Ratajkowski. The model and author of 'My Body' also said that she was inspired by the similar work of pop star Rihanna.
