There are some archaeological sites very difficult to understand for everybody. They are understandable just for the archaeologists. But if we use (technology) on archaeological sites, we can explain our words. That site is possible to speak for everybody. I think China has a very high knowledge in technology. So I think it could be very interesting collaboration with Italy. In Italy, there are many many heritage things, but in some cases, we don't have the technology to conserve them or to explain the heritage to the public or conservation. So I hope (there) could be that collaboration (between) Italy and China."President of CIPA and a professor at the Polytechnic University of Turin, Fulvio Rinaudo, echoed her opinion. He said that China's extensive resources exemplify the strength of collective effort in advancing AI technology for cultural heritage preservation.SOUNDBITE 2 (English): FULVIO RINAUDO, President of CIPA and professor of the Polytechnic University of Turin, Italy"You (China) have a big power and a bigger population. And so you show us that if we put together the effort, if we concentrate the effort on one topic, in a few time, we can do all things."Over 300 representatives from 20 countries and regions have attended the four-day symposium, during which more than 100 professional reports and cases have been presented and discussed.Xinhua News Agency correspondents reporting from Beijing.(XHTV)
