Stephen Ambrose talked about his book, [Nothing Like It in the World: The Men Who Built the Transcontinental Railroad, 1863-1869], published by Simon and Schuster. The book chronicles the story of the planning and effort that went into connecting the Atlantic and Pacific coasts by rail. After his prepared remarks, he answered questions from members of the audience.
