New Delhi: The two-day long nationwide strike called by the left-affiliated trade unions to protest against the 'anti-people policies of the central government' has begun on Tuesday. The 48-hours strike was declared by ten central trade unions including INTUC, CITU and AITUC. Some of the left-wing organizations of farmers have called for a two-day Grameen Bharat bandh in support of the nationwide strike.
