The Queen has arrived at the Duke of Edinburgh’s memorial service at Westminster Abbey. The monarch, 95, dressed in green, was accompanied by her son Prince Andrew as she arrived at the thanksgiving service for her husband of 73 years. The Royal Standard flew above Westminster Abbey, and the bells fell silent as the service began. The Duke of Edinburgh, who died last April aged 99, will be remembered as a “man of rare ability and distinction”.
