Poorly maintained lane in Ely faces discontinuation of services unless it's fixed

For many years, vehicles have been having difficulties travelling down Upherds Lane in Ely because it’s in such a poor condition Towards the end of 2019, East Cambridgeshire District Council was having to consider changes to bin collections for residents living along the street. It said lorries had been damaged on poorly maintained roads, and it had to think about the health and safety of employees.
