In the Oval Office, President Donald Trump signed two new executive orders. One stops federal funding to schools that have a COVID vaccine mandate in place for students, and the other creates the National Energy Dominance Council, to be chaired by Interior Secretary Doug Burgum. The president was joined by Secretary Burgum as well as Department of Commerce secretary nominee Howard Lutnick, Department of Energy Secretary Chris Wright, and Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, who all gave remarks. The president then took questions from reporters.
