Extinction Rebellion Activists Call for Reparations During “Walk of Shame” Protest in the City of London

As a part of their “reparations rebellion” on Friday, September 4, climate change activists demanded that financial institutions such as Lloyd’s of London pay reparations for their role in the slave trade. One activist glued his hand and a “plaque of shame” to the Lloyd’s building during the protest.
