The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources hopes to encourage 10,000 landowners to install stream-side buffers which help control erosion and promote healthy waterways in the state. Murrysville officials used grant funding to create a buffer along the headwaters of Steele's Run in Murrysville Community Park.
