Ugandan Conflict Survivor Victor Ochen Now Helps Thousands Of Other Victims Of War

As a child, Victor Ochen was displaced by Uganda’s civil war. He spent 21 years living in a refugee camp in northern Uganda and survived on one meal a day for 7 years. In 2005, as a child living in a refugee camp, Ochen founded his organisation, Peace Club, which has now evolved into the African Youth Initiative Network (AYINET). It imparts skills and health education and fosters purpose and community among the victims of war. Watch to know more.
