Cancer is a leading health concern in Florida, with the state holding the second highest cancer burden in the United States. The Florida Cancer Data System estimates that up to 145,000 Floridians are diagnosed with some form of cancer every year. Over sixty percent of those cases are diagnosed in people aged 65 and older.
