Parker Solar Probe Becomes The Fastest Man Made Object Ever.

NASA’s Parker Solar Probe, assigned to gather data from sun’s atmosphere, has become the fastest man-made moving object in history, breaking its own record. It was seen traveling close to 635, 266 kilometers per hour on June 29, 2024, way more than the known speed of sound. The speed of this NASA vehicle depends on coordinating time and momentum, as it uses Venus’ gravitational pull whenever it aligns with the planet’s orbit. As it loops through the Sun’s orbit, it’s speed is decided by how powerful of a sling shot it gets from the gravity on Venus. The Parker Solar Probe is predicted to get faster with a speed of 692,000 km per hour, most likely when it gets closer to the Sun in 2025. It was launched in 2018 and has completed 20 close approaches so far, gathering data essential for understanding our solar system.
