A customer arrived with a 2012 Ford F150 truck equipped with a 6R80. The complaint consisted of a harsh neutral to drive as well as an aggressive coast down and kick down into fourth gear. There were no trouble codes present and the condition happened rather quickly. A systematic approach was used to determine exactly what the problem was as opposed to just replacing parts. Ultimately the problem ended up being a bad SSA solenoid.
