Union ministers Hardeep Singh Puri and V. Muraleedharan carried copies of Sikh holy book Guru Granth Sahib on their heads as Sikh evacuees arrived in Delhi from the war-torn nation of Afghanistan. Religious chanting accompanied the ministers carrying the books through Delhi airport. The evacuees were first taken from Afghan capital Kabul to Tajikistan's Dushanbe by the Indian Air Force.
